What do you do? I do many things, and wear many hats, but all of them are worn to enable me to sing, song-write, and be that frontwoman. If I don't sing my songs, I feel lost, and down.

What do you love about the city you live in? I have been living in Cairns for the past two years; what I love about this 'city' is that it feels like a big country town, friendly, fun, and warm.

Where did you go for your last holiday? Living in Cairns is truly like being on a permanent holiday 😉. My last actual last holiday was to The Mornington Peninsula, to visit my grown kids and friends.

What's your favourite item of clothing? My denim jacket. I have always worn them, however this one was given to me by my bestie, and it's worn, stretchy, a great cut, and goes with everything, anywhere.

What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid? (If you've got kids, what's your favourite show to watch with them?) 'I Dream Of Jeannie'. Likely to be 'The Simpsons', the most popular show I watched with my kids when they were young.

If you could travel back in time for a day, where would you go? Straight to the '70s front row for Deep Purple or Tina Turner concert. If not for the music, certainly for the fashion and vibes.

If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook us? Pasta and a bottle of red or my famous homemade pizza. Comfort food, cool music.

What's the best lesson you've ever learned? That nothing is ever what it seems; how it starts, is how it ends.

Tell us one thing about yourself that nobody else knows... I'm actually a very private person, it takes a lot to get to know me, despite my public image.

Are you happy with your work/ life balance? No, but I have just organised a huge east-coast tour, lol. I'm looking forward to some time off, after the tour in January, as I tend to be a workaholic, and working from home as a full-time musician, you can't escape the never ending list of things to do.

How do you define success? Being happy, healthy, independent and fearless!

What's your spirit animal? I have several animal totems: crow, panther, the elk. However, my favourite is the eagle, the one I aspire to be more like.
