I'm an independent filmmaker, writer and also work on an Angus Farm.
Why do you do it?
I started making films when I was 11 years old. I'm 28 now, I guess it's hard to imagine doing anything else.
What do you love about the city you live in?
In a way I live in both Adelaide and Brisbane. I know both cities very well and go back and forth frequently between the two. It's great because I get excitement of Brisbane and the tranquility of Adelaide.
Where did you go for your last holiday?
Japan, although it wasn't really a holiday. It was to shoot 'Colourful & Impossible'.
What's your favourite item of clothing? Why?
I'm a bum when it comes to clothing. I basically walk into a store, close my eyes and pick items off the rack.
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid?
It seems so basic in saying 'The Simpsons', but it really was!
If you could travel back in time for a day, where would you go?
Probably around 1993, I'd go see 'Jurassic Park' again at the cinema.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook for us?
Probably a BBQ, you can still be social and it doesn't have to be so formal.
What's the best lesson you've ever learned?
That we all will, and do, fail in life. It hurts. No one is perfect.
Tell us one thing about yourself that nobody else knows...
Although I laugh at the idea of being married, having kids and a white picket fence house, I still dream of it.
Are you happy with your work/life balance?
When I get a proper job, I'll let you know!
How do you define success?
Success is baby steps. So when you do get that extra inch forward, celebrate it. Because you may not get to celebrate it again!
What's your spirit animal?
After working on a farm, I think it's actually cows. They are peaceful and funny creatures. Also I am a Taurus.
