I run NICO – a Brisbane-based label making beautiful, simple underwear and basics.
Why do you do it?
There was totally a gap in the underwear market for something that wasn't over the top lacy or just really boring. NICO is all about being unique, style drive but also super comfy!
What do you love about the city you live in?
Brisbane has totally transformed in the last decade or so. There's so much brilliant stuff going on and I find it really exciting and inspiring if you're trying to do something creative. There's a really supportive community who love to collaborate and make things happen!
Where did you go for your last holiday?
Last holiday was Italy – so much eating...
What's your favourite item of clothing? Why?
Simple and comfortable is my usual go to, so it would have to be great jeans from Nobody Denim paired with a NICO tee. :)

Home made pasta (inspired by that Italy trip).
What's the best lesson you've ever learned?
Take one step at a time.
Are you happy with your work/life balance?
It's always a bit of a juggling act, but luckily I love my job!
How do you define success?
I don't really think one final point of success really exists – as long as you're constantly moving forward and enjoying the journey!
