I’m a presenter at 4ZZZ and Switch1197 radio stations. I contribute to the news department at 4ZZZ and announce and produce Blunt Force Llama on Thursday nights as well as being a regular contributor to Dykes On Mykes on Wednesdays. I also announce and produce Gay Savvy over at Switch1197.
Why do you do it?
I’m very lucky to have the opportunity to develop some skills in broadcast media in a unique environment that’s progressive, exciting and irreverent.
What do you love about the city you live in?
Kick ass community radio.
Where did you go for your last holiday?
Germany. I like how inefficient and disorganised they are.
What's your favourite item of clothing?
Anything that’s completely ridiculous and over the top. When in doubt make it big. If still in doubt, make it red.
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid?
‘The Ferals’. It had such a great premise — a uni student share house that was so filthy that feral animals came to live there. I also really like the name Mixy (as in Myxomatosis) for the rabbit, and the fact the Ferals were always playing pranks on the native wildlife who were really lame.
If you could travel back in time for a day, where would you go?
New York City on the day prohibition ended. I think that’d be a party.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook us?
Margaritas.
What's the best lesson you've ever learned?
My mother always says: “you’re meeting your problems at the front gate and you’ve probably got the wrong house”.

Are you happy with your work/ life balance?
I think everyone could do with more time to watch an entire TV series in one sitting. Forget maternity leave, the government needs to fund ‘Game Of Thrones’ leave – at a level commiserate with your income.
How do you define success?
When ‘The Simpsons’ have made fun of you in an episode.
