Director of Disco Entertainment, an event management and marketing company, Our Place bar and soon to be Miss Kay's bar in the city. I also help run the Brisbane-based events The Winter Social and Sunset Affair.
Why do you do it?
I do it because it’s what I love. Organising events, creating bars; basically I get to make an income from having fun. And nothing excites me more than seeing a concept for an event, or an idea for bar come to fruition after months or years of hard work.
What do you love about the city you live in?
My friends, my family and the people of Brisbane.
Where did you go for your last holiday?
Europe last July.
What's your favourite item of clothing?
Plain, black tee. It hides my muffin top.
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid?
'Pokemon', because I'm Asian… it was natural for me.
If you could travel back in time for a day, where would you go?
1950s. The cars, music, clothing and culture intrigues me.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook us?
Not surprising, I can make some mean dumplings. You would be impressed.
What's the best lesson you've ever learned?
Work smart, not hard. I feel it applies to my life quite a bit.
Tell us one thing about yourself that nobody else knows...
I can make two-minute noodles in 1 minute 57 seconds. Believe dat!
Are you happy with your work/ life balance?
Yeah I think I’ve got a good balance with everything. Could probs [sic] hit the gym a bit more actually… need to get rid of the keg.
How do you define success?
Success is defined by how happy you are in life. As long as you are happy in life, you are successful.
What's your spirit animal?
I have zero idea.
