Why do you do it? I love the arts, but specifically theatre. It fills my cup to work somewhere where the art underpins everything we do. I couldn't imagine doing anything else.
What do you love about the city you live in? Brisbane absolutely has my heart. The local grassroots arts scene is so inspiring. There are so many young creatives in this city doing incredible things.
Where did you go for your last holiday? I went to Canada on a road trip. I was in charge of directions. I'm terrible with directions.
What's your favourite item of clothing? My mum's jumper from the '80s. Partly because I am sentimental and partly because it's polarising – it makes an appearance every winter and every winter my friends beg me to wear something else.
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid? 'The Simpsons'. My sixth sense is identifying other people who also grew up watching 'The Simpsons'. I swear it alters your DNA.
If you could travel back in time for a day, where would you go? Any gig at CGBG in the '80s.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook us? Well, that depends on your dietary requirements but there would be wine to start and an espresso to finish.
What's the best lesson you've ever learned? You’ve just got to be bigger than the small mistakes you make.
Tell us one thing about yourself that nobody else knows... I listen to 'Don't Rain On My Parade' by Barbra Streisand, on repeat.
Are you happy with your work/ life balance? I haven't met a single person in this industry that doesn't work incredibly hard. When your work aligns with your passions, it's easy to go the extra mile. I think like most arts workers, I'm grateful I still get to do what I do.
How do you define success? I am sure the definition changes throughout your life. For now, success means achieving things with passion and grit.
What's your spirit animal? Jack Black in the 'School Of Rock'.
