Why do you do it? I have a lifelong obsession with local and Australian music, but perhaps more directly, my role within the bands I've played with over the years inevitably always became 'the one that responds to the emails', and that's how you begin to learn the business.
What do you love about the city you live in? Perth is a small and easy town to live in, with some of the comforts you'd expect from a big city. Like a shopping mall, and the internet!
Where did you go for your last holiday? Broome, Western Australia; 'twas hot!
What's your favourite item of clothing? My sunglasses. If we are outside I can not see you without my sunglasses. My eyes have grown weak and tired from 20 years of wearing sunglasses.
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid? Do you remember a show called 'The Extraordinary'? It was an Australian documentary series about the paranormal and supernatural, and all of that spooky stuff that I'm still obsessed with.
If you could travel back in time for a day, where would you go? I'd love to travel to 1978 and watch John Carpenter's 'Halloween' on opening night in a full cinema.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook us? Steamed hams!
What's the best lesson you've ever learned? When sending a guest list to a venue, put it in alphabetical order.
Tell us one thing about yourself that nobody else knows. . . I hold the world record for most good hair days in a row. My record is currently at 12,000.
Are you happy with your work/ life balance? Yes. I've learned to set pretty firm boundaries for myself.
How do you define success? Happiness.
What's your spirit animal? The Loch Ness Monster.
