Why do you do it? Let's be honest – there's often times I ask myself the same thing, but it always comes down to the same answer: because I love music. I couldn't imagine a life where I don't work in music.
What do you love about the city you live in? I currently live in Tugun (Gold Coast) – I love being able to walk across the road to the beach, and the crisp, clean sunsets of autumn.
Where did you go for your last holiday? My last holiday I went on was to the States for a month in June last year with my partner. We went to San Francisco, road tripped out to Las Vegas, spent a few days in a boat in the middle of the desert in Joshua Tree, and then spent two weeks camping and travelling the California coast. It was my favourite holiday yet.
What's your favourite item of clothing? This is a hard one. Probably my red cowboy boots I bought in Vegas. The item I most currently wear is my Carhartt vest.
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid? Probably 'The Simpsons' – I used to have a VCR tape that I would take with me everywhere.
If you could travel back in time for a day, where would you go? There's so many great moments I'd love to relive again that I wouldn't be able to pick just one. Best to just keep looking forward.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook for us? We'd pick a theme and then roll with it. If it were Italian I'd cook gnocchi in a blue-cheese sauce, vegetarian lasagne, Caprese salad and lots and lots of red wine.
What's the best lesson you've ever learned? Good things don't come easy, trust the process and find comfort in discomfort.
Tell us one thing about yourself that nobody else knows... Ummmm.
Are you happy with your work/ life balance? Yes. I'm so lucky to be supported by such amazing people in my career that champion this. It's so important and needs to be something that's spoken about more in the music industry. It definitely looks differently to certain people. I've always seen it as the ability to work from wherever you are.
How do you define success? To me success is living a life that makes you genuinely happy. A life where you wake up every morning and say to yourself f... yeah, let's go.
What's your spirit animal? I actually have a tattoo on my right arm of my spirit animal. It's a wolf.
