I am the head chef at Miss Peaches Soul Food Kitchen on Missenden Road in Newtown.
Why do you do it?
Cooking is my passion and I love being a chef, it feels right.
What do you love about the city you live in?
I love the music, art and of course the people. Sydney is a truly diverse place and the inner west where I’ve always lived is a place where everyone can be themselves.
Where did you go for your last holiday?
London to visit my little brother who lives there as a ballet dancer.
What's your favourite item of clothing? Why?
Shoes. Cos they’re collectable.
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid?
Dragon Ball Z.
If you could travel back in time for a day, where would you go?
To New York in the 80's. Get involved in the art and music blowing up at the time.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook for us?
An assortment of meats cooked in different ways and some sort of salad to lighten the load on your stomach. Plus many many drinks.
What's the best lesson you've ever learned?
Patience and integrity strive over any easy way to get ahead.
