I focus currently on being an artist. Photography is my main passion, but I love drawing, writing, designing and being a rad artist.
Why do you do it?
It keeps me alive. Fills me up and gives me a good excuse to make sense of the sometimes jumbled mess that is my brain. Keeps me busy.
What do you love about the city you live in?
I live in Brisbane currently. Although it is a tiny city, I think it’s the smallness of the city that really gets me. I can get away and get lost in the hub and bub of the city when I want to, but I am always just a step away from the tranquility of the river.
Where did you go for your last holiday?
Well, whenever I go places, I seem to always go for a reason, never classifying them as holidays, but I would have to say last MAJOR holiday was Bali, with my family. Then again going home to the coast, seeing my family and chilling out is super fun anyway.
What's your favourite item of clothing? Why?
I would have to say my glasses, as I usually wear them everyday, and they seem to bring together my outfit everytime I wear them.
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid?
Definitely ‘Sailor Moon’ and ‘Pokemon’. Anime was a big part of my childhood, definitely shaped who I am today. Which to say is very dramatic and colourful.
If you could travel back in time for a day, where would you go?
I would go back to when I was a kid, to a christmas or a birthday, and really live in the moment and have as much fun as I could, so that when I got back to the future my memories would be more vibrant.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook us?
My speciality… Centrelink pesto pasta, which is basically like pesto pasta, just very low budget.
What's the best lesson you've ever learned?
I think it was learning through a struggle that I have the ability to pick myself up with no help, and get myself back on track, so therefore I would have to say self-stability.
Tell us one thing about yourself that nobody else knows...
Well if I said it then everybody would know it wouldn’t they!
Are you happy with your work/ life balance?
Definitely. I like to keep myself busy so I am happy that I get to be an artist and sometimes pick when I wake up in the morning.
How do you define success?
When you are alright with what you have.
What's your spirit animal?
I would say myself, but if I had to be practical I would say a frog or a falcon.
