Why do you do it? I love dancing and being entertained, artists inspire me. I can't imagine a world without the arts. So many artists live in regional areas, the rent is generally cheaper and there are great venues, festivals and audiences, yet access to industry knowledge is so limited and playing outside of your home town can be daunting.
The MusicNSW Regional team offers regional artists connection and empowerment through building networks, knowledge and capacity; I feel it's vital.
What do you love about the city you live in? I live off grid, in the forest; my closest neighbour is 3kms away. I love the sound of the creek and the birds and the whole buzz of nature, and being able to grow veggies.
Where did you go for your last holiday? Bluesfest.
What's your favourite item of clothing? My velvet coat, it's dreamy and timeless.
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid? 'Bewitched'.
If you could travel back in time for a day, where would you go? The Prince concert at the Pyramids heralding in the year 2000.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook us? Moroccan Tagine.
What's the best lesson you've ever learned? To listen.
Tell us one thing about yourself that nobody else knows... I hugged a boab tree in the Kimberley.
