What do you do? I'm an artist manager/ booking agent/ marketing specialist working across a roster including Joel Sunny, The Rubens, Cloud Control, Rum Jungle, Sycco, Mia Wray, Radio Free Alice, Deadshowws, Sex Mask and more.
Why do you do it? I've always had a passion for music, growing up in a very Alice In Chains/ Soundgarden/ Nirvana household; also, not a fan of structured education, so getting into the music industry just made sense.
What do you love about the city you live in? Having people come from all over Australia just to visit the beautiful beach here (Somersby) is a special thing; the lady at the local coffee van makes a mean flat white too.
Where did you go for your last holiday? It's snow season, so I was down at Jindabyne as soon as the slopes opened.
What's your favourite item of clothing? My Frenzal Rhomb Pell Awaits t-shirt; amazing band, even better cause, a striking design and it's super comfy so what's not to love?!
What was your favourite TV show when you were a kid? 'Phineas And Ferb' was the best thing ever; that intro track still goes so hard.
If you could travel back in time for a day, where would you go? Live Aid, Wembley Stadium, 13 July 1985.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook for us? A mean lamb spaghetti (way better than beef).
What's the best lesson you've ever learned? "Not my monkeys, not my circus." - Eckhart Tolle
Tell us one thing about yourself that nobody else knows... I spent probably a full year reading the entire 'CHERUB' book series every month.
Are you happy with your work/ life balance? Absolutely. It helps working in an industry with so much passion and meaning that it doesn't really feel like work most of the time. Also having clear set boundaries to keep personal life from being overrun (don't work past 7pm unless you absolutely have to).
How do you define success? Always striving to be better, to be more, to learn. Success is different for everybody, but as long as you're happy doing what you do and you're always moving forward, that's success in my books.
What's your spirit animal? I've never really figured out the answer to this, but the quiz I just took said turtle. I've also heard meerkat from people before.
