Young Henry's have announced 'Small World', a one-day music, food and craft beer festival and celebration of the inner west of Sydney.
Closing down Jabez Street in Marrickville on Saturday 20 September, Young Henry's promise a food and music experience that will delight all the senses and highlight the vibrancy and community in the inner west.
Oscar & Rich from Newtown's own brewery explains: "the idea started to take shape during a conversation over a beer, as all good ideas do. We were talking about all the amazing things that people put into the world from the inner west...the conversation steered towards music of course and we were in agreement that the music of the inner west isn't celebrated as much as it deserves to be."
Tumbleweed join local hip hop heroes True Vibenation, mighty seven-piece punk, string outfit Little Bastard, scrungy blues rock n' roll band The Snowdroppers who will play one of their very few sets of 2014 and garage-punk-pop trio Bloods. The line-up continues with Steve Smyth, The Delta Riggs and Richard In Your Mind who are releasing their first, second and fourth album respectively, and The Upskirts, Pat Capocci and Royal Tennyson who round off the line-up.
There will be food stalls from some of the many incredible local outlets that seem to be driving Sydney's culinary fans to the inner west.
