Almost a decade since his last visit, guitar virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen returns to Australia in 2024.
The Swedish artist, known for such hits as 'Rising Force', 'Black Star' and 'Far Beyond The Sun', will headline concerts in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney this May. "Ohhh new shows added. Can't wait to see you guys."A pioneer of neo-classical rock and heavy metal, with a career now spanning four decades, twenty solo albums (of original material) and a Grammy Award, Malmsteen's most recent studio effort was 2021's 'Parabellum' that includes 'Wolves At The Door'.
Know as a maestro with his jaw-dropping technique, innovative style, and unparalleled showmanship, Malmsteen has become a guitar icon influencing generations of guitar players.
This tour will feature a retrospective set list spotlighting Yngwie's legacy, with a particular celebration of his debut solo album 'Rising Force' that celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2024.
