US Rapper, Xzibit, has thrown a chair and "bitch-slapped" Aussie promoter Patrick Whyntie.
The fracas happened last night at the Uni Bar in Adelaide prior to Xzibit's performance. DJ Victor Lopez posted on Facebook that it all went down because a "dodgy Subaru with broken windows" was organised as the artist's ride from the airport and so he had to catch a taxi.

Whyntie a.k.a. Mastacraft, and promoter of the Heatwave Festival, came off stage to find an argument between Xzibit's manager and local staff regarding issues relating to the management and preparations for the event. It was when Whyntie stepped in that the headliner escalated.
Whyntie has posted a statement on Facebook reflecting on the experience:
People forget Xzibit was one of my idols I spent my life savings to bring him down to Heatwave 1, had best friends invest and we treated him like royalty. Stretch Limos, fat pay cheque, unlimited booze you name it. What do you think we did this time?
Moments before he flipped out I had just had my guys running around to make sure every last need was taken care of! Like a fan said we worked bloody hard to honour his name and spreading his music selling 90% of the tickets hand to hand! We damn near sold a show out on a Wednesday night in Adelaide.
