Heads up OG hip hop stans 'cause it's time to git up with three of biggest names in the late '90s, early '00s scene: Xzibit, D12 and Obie Trice.
The trio of Detroit rap legends are combining their forces for a joint co-headlining tour of Australia that will land in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney in June.Each artist is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their seminal records: Xzibit's 'Man vs. Machine' (2002), D12's 'D12 World' (2004) and Obie Trice's 'Cheers' (2003).
'Man vs. Machine' features the cuts 'My Name', 'Multiply', 'Choke Me, Spank Me' and 'Losin' Your Mind'. 'D12 World' is packed with the hits 'My Band', 'American Psycho II', 'How Come', '40 Oz.' and 'Git Up'. While 'Cheers' is packed with such classics as 'Sh.t Hits The Fan', 'The Setup', 'We All Die One Day' and 'Got Some Teeth'.
A career that also features the club bangers 'X', 'Alkaholik' and 'Get Your Walk On', Xzibit has fostered a career that has seen him host MTV's iconic 'Pimp My Ride' and 'Cribs' appear in such TV shows as 'CSI: Miami' and 'Hawaii Five-O'.
With past members including former frontman Eminem, the now stripped-back D12 features Swifty McVay and Kuniva who reunited last year opening several shows on Snoop Dogg's 'I Wanna Thank Me' tour.
Obie Trice released 'Cheers' on Eminem’s label Shady Records, amassing guest spots with Eminem, Nate Dogg, Timbaland, Lloyd Banks, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, D12 and Busta Rhymes.
Trice formed his own record label, Black Market Entertainment, after leaving Shady Records in 2008 releasing three more albums: 'Bottoms Up' (2012), 'The Hangover' (2015) and 'The Fifth' (2019).
