Japanese, South Korea-based pop group XG are returning to Australia early next year for their debut world tour ‘XG 1st World Tour The First HOWL’.
Last here in 2023 for their debut showcase as part of SXSW Sydney, the group – consisting of members Jurin, Chisa, Hinata, Harvey, Juria, Maya and Cocona – blew fans and critics away with live performances of tracks like ‘LEFT, RIGHT’, ‘TGIF’, and ‘GRL GVNG’.
They debuted in 2022 with their break-out single ‘Tippy Toes’, which captured the hearts of fans around the world instantly. Their goal as a group is to empower young people across the globe. Their fresh, genre-bending approach to music has cemented them as the next big pop group.
XG is the first Japanese artist to reach #1 on the US Billboard Chart, as well as the first Japanese girl group to grace the cover of Billboard magazine. They create their music in English, and their extensive fanbase has seen them tour across the US, Japan, Korea, Singapore, the UAE, Malaysia, China and Australia.
XG will bring show-stopping performances around the country for Australian Alphaz.
