Currently in the middle of a number of festival dates (Summersalt, Sunset Sounds and Bluesfest), Australian roots musical shaman, Xavier Rudd will embark on a massive headline tour of his own, running from late May to end of July.
The 33-date journey will encompass every state and territory as well as travelling to a host of regional centres."Super excited to announce my new album tour will begin on home soil," Xavier says. "We're gonna hit many different regional Australian towns and capital cities."
The tour news is accompanied by the news Xavier's tenth studio album 'Jan Juc Moon' will land next month.
"Working on this record has been an insightful journey over this past couple of years during a crazy time in the world. I'm proud of what we captured and I'm excited to share the rest of it."
Released last month, the current single for 'Jan Juc Moon' is the powerful and socially conscious track 'Ball And Chain', which features emerging artist J-MILLA.
A music video has now been released. "After a shaky start with a cancellation due to COVID we managed to all get together and film the video for 'Ball And Chain', Xavier says.
"It was a classic day collaborating with J-MILLA, who is just a massive big ball of sunshine and local Kabi Kabi dancers.
"Plenty of laughs and good times to finish off a weird year and shine some light into an otherwise serious track."
'Jan Juc Moon' is scheduled for release 25 March, 2022. Pre-order it.
Tickets to Xavier's tour are now on sale.
