Pop culture, pop music and gaming are three of Jesse’s biggest passions. Lady Gaga, Real Housewives and The Sims can almost sum him up – but he also adores a night at the cinema or a trip to the theatre.

It's almost 31 years old, and the annual Woodford Folk Festival continues to show no signs of stopping.

One of the country's most vibrant and versatile music and arts gatherings, the festival has unveiled this year's poster, to tie in with the theme 'How We Wonder'.

The artist in residence, Gavin Ryan, has created some stunning artwork for Woodford over the years, and this year is no exception. The poster is beautifully bright and is mostly taken up by a star-filled sky, with lights down below.

In 2015, it was revealed that the artworks for the 2013 and 2014 events were two out of three parts of a triptych. This year, a new triptych has been born, and will be completed in 2018.

This year's image is something that will make a lot more sense when you arrive at the event, according to Festival Manager Amanda Jackes: "The poster features images people will recognise when they get to the festival, and much of the overall story will be revealed when all three posters come together in 2018," she says.

The Woodford Folk Festival takes place from 27 December-1 January, and the programme will be revealed on 15 October.
