Indie pop, rock-roots Central Coast duo Winterbourne are back with fresh music and their first Australian shows of 2019.
The follow-up to their September 2018 single 'Better', 'Take The Golden' was written in Berlin with German musician Tobias Kuhn (who has worked with Milky Chance) and features on their debut album they will release later in 2019.
The track was inspired by a detour to the beaches of Dunkirk, France, after the duo, James Draper and Jordan Brady, watched the film of the same name.
"We had no real notion of the kind of song we wanted to create," the duo says, "and just set about coming up with ideas and putting the pieces together … it pretty quickly became one of our favourite songs we'd ever written."
The lads will tour nationally in April, with shows in Fremantle, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
Tickets to all the shows are available now. Click here for more information.
