Wing Defence Headline Inaugural Space Jams Live Festival

Wing Defence headline the inaugural Space Jams Live (Adelaide) on 15 August.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

While it's been a minute since live music has been allowed, the opportunity for Adelaidians to bounce around with their mates while their favourite, local bands rock-out on stage is once more reality with the inaugural Space Jams Live concert taking over Jive on 15 August.

What originally began as a COVID-inspired, one-off virtual concert in March that swiftly turned into a monthly online festival, Space Jams is ready to fully bloom on the live stage (thanks to a little assistance from the State Government's repurposed Project Support Grants), headlined by Adelaide pop-punk duo Wing Defence.

Fresh off dropping their six-track EP 'Friends' last month, as well as winning best punk artist at 2019 South Australian Music Awards, Wing Defence will be joined by indie punk rockers Seabass and Adelaide Hills blues rockers Indiago.

Winner of the best blues & roots artist at 2019 South Australian Music Awards, Ollie English is also part of action. As is local art-rock project Twin Decoy.

Hosted by comedian Claybrin McMath, there'll also be DJ sets from Young Offenders and Notorious VAG. Frothing.
