Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Single-day music festival Wildlands is returning to Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide as 2024 ends and 2025 begins.

The Brisbane event will once again come alive at Brisbane Showgrounds, Perth is set to enjoy a new home at HBF Arena Parklands, and Adelaide’s event returns to Ellis Park.

The return of the festival brings with it a huge roster of acts from our own backyard and overseas, across elevated production and improved site layouts. The likes of FISHER, Ice Spice, RL Grime, Chase & Status, Marlon Hoffstadt, Tinashe, Royel Otis, Lola Young, BARKAA and more to play all three locations. Becky Hill, Sammy Viriji, RL Grime, horsegiirL, Confidence Man and Joy (Anonymous), will play Brisbane and Perth.

GRAMMY-nominated home-grown hero FISHER is back, following his biggest year of international touring yet and huge 2024 singles like ‘Somebody (2024)’, a remix of Marlon Hoffstadt track ‘It’s That Time’, and ‘Boost Up’.

American drill queen with a pop twist Ice Spice joins Wildlands off the back of huge global tracks including collaborations with stars like Nicki Minaj, PinkPantheress and Taylor Swift.

British drum ’n’ bass duo Chase & Status have experienced a second coming as the genre has enjoyed a renaissance. Their recent single ‘Backbone’ with Stormy earned them their first ever UK #1.

Is somebody going to match Tinashe’s freak? Her first solo Billboard Hot 100 single is ‘Nasty’, the lead from her seventh studio album ‘Quantum Baby’. She’ll bring her live show to Wildlands.

Sydney duo Royel Otis are sure to provide immaculate vibes with their viral versions of Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’ and Cranberries’ ‘Linger’.

All-time Wildlands favourite, American trap and bass legend RL Grime is back for more, following the recent release ‘SMACK TALK’.

Off the back of her second studio album ‘Believe Me Now’ comes English singer-songwriter Becky Hill, who has released global hits with David Guetta, Joel Corry, Galantis, MEDUZA, Sonny Fedora and Chase & Status.

Also joining the line-up are live acts and DJs including Malugi, Sam Alfred, Hannah Laing, Issey Cross, MESSIE, Little Fritter, 1TBSP, Sammythesinner, Moss, Djanaba, GiRLTHING and more.

Tickets are on sale 5 September at 6pm local.
