Those Teenage Dirtbags from America are returning, with Wheatus to tour Australia this summer.
This run of shows – which will visit Brisbane, Canberra, Newcastle, Tamworth, Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, Fremantle and Perth next January – will see the American band play their 2000 self-titled album in full.

The record that gifted us the cultural touchstone 'Teenage Dirtbag' as well as 'A Little Respect' (their cover of Erasure's original) and 'Punk Ass Bitch', was recorded in the basement of vocalist-guitarist's Brendan B. Brown's mum's house.
Wheatus are in the midst of a career resurgence after the viral 'Teenage Dirtbag photos' trend on TikTok attracted over a million participants, including celebs like Madonna, Lady Gaga, Mark Ruffalo, Lil Nas X, and Jon Bon Jovi.
'Teenage Dirtbag' has also featured in Netflix's 'Big Mouth' and Disney's 'Cruel Summer'; incredibly in 2023, the song re-entered the UK Top 40 charts.
It's led to the band playing concerts with the likes of The 1975, Muse, Jack White, Blink-182, Paramore and Coheed & Cambria. The song also saw Brendan jam onstage with Ed Sheeran in July.
