More than a quarter of a century since they last toured down under, and forced to cancel their 2020 Australian live dates, '80s-'90s pop rockers Wet Wet Wet finally return to Oz in late November.
Already revealed as the main support for The Corrs' one-off Australian show in the Hunter Valley, Wet Wet Wet will also headline their own concerts in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide.Known for such iconic hits as 'Sweet Surrender', 'Goodnight Girl' and 'Julia Says' their biggest hit remains 'Love Is All Around' (their cover of The Troggs' 1967 hit), which was the best-selling single in Australia circa 1994 and part of 'Four Weddings And A Funeral' soundtrack.
In late 2018, the band revealed that winner of 'The Voice UK' and former member of Liberty X, Kevin Simm had joined original members Graeme Clark, Neil Mitchell and Tommy Cunningham as lead vocalist.
Having played to more than four million people around the world, Wet Wet Wet have featured in the official UK singles and album charts for over 500 weeks. The band's latest album was 2021's 'The Journey', their first in over a decade.
Set to join the tour are Australian singer-songwriter Ben Lee (who recently released his newest studio album 'I'm Fun!') and emerging artist Gaudion, who was nominated for Breakout Artist Of The Year at 2022 Gold Coast Music Awards.
Tickets on sale from 9am EST on 29 September.
