Wet Wet Wet 2020 Australia Tour

Wet Wet Wet
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

A quarter of a century since they were last Down Under, '80s-'90s pop rockers Wet Wet Wet are returning to Australia with 2020 shows planned in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong and Gold Coast.

In late 2018, the band revealed that winner of ‘The Voice UK’ and former member of Liberty X, Kevin Simm had joined original members Graeme Clark, Neil Mitchell and Tommy Cunningham as lead vocalist.

This run of Oz dates comes after Wet Wet Wet have enjoyed a successful run of recent European summer festival appearances and a sold-out UK tour. "It’s been a long time since we’ve been to Australia and New Zealand," Graeme Clark says.

"We loved our numerous trips there in the past and can’t wait to see everyone again."

Known for such iconic hits as 'Sweet Surrender', 'Goodnight Girl' and 'Julia Says' their biggest hit remains 'Love Is All Around' (their cover of The Troggs' 1967 hit), which was the best-selling single in Australia circa 1994 and part of 'Four Weddings And A Funeral' soundtrack.
