The tongue-in-cheek indie chaos that is Wet Leg returns to Australia early 2026.
Already playing Laneway Festival, the 'Wet Dream' and 'Chaise Longue' hitmakers will headline concerts in Sydney and Melbourne next February.
The Isle of Wight band led by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers grew to a five piece in 2024 when Josh Mobaraki (guitar, keyboards), Ellis Durand (bass) and Henry Holmes (drums) joined the group full-time.
After a whirlwind 2021-2023 that saw them release their debut self-titled album, tour the world multiple times, join Harry Styles on the Oceanic leg of his Love On Tour, winning Grammy and Brit awards along the way, earlier this year Wet Leg released their sophomore album 'Moisturizer'.
"We're so proud of what the five of us have made and we really hope you like it too," the band posted in July. "This record came outta lots of late night demoing, strange little jams, trips to the pier and the dumbest of in-jokes.
"Mostly it is the result of the five of us hanging out with no big plan (。•́‿•̀。), just following a feeling and seeing where it took us ☆彡. We're so proud of the weird little world we built together ꒰。• ༝ •。꒱ Thank you for stepping into it ✧₊⁎♡."
Adds Rhian: ""That's the other thing about our band. We're not virtuoso guitarists or anything, but making music isn't about that for us. It's just: 'Does it sound good?' Often it's the rough bits, the weird wonky melodies that you hold on to."
Tickets on sale from 12pm AEDT on 9 October.
