The current trend of '90s-'00s boy bands touring Australia will continue into 2027, with the 'good boys of pop' Westlife bringing their 25th anniversary world tour down under.

The Irish group with 14 UK #1 singles will headline concerts in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane July 2027.

Although still a quartet, Westlife is currently touring as a trio – Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, and Kian Egan – with Mark Feehily sidelined due to ongoing health issues.

"We can't believe it's been 20 years since we last toured in Australia, so it only felt right that we should come back and celebrate our 25th anniversary together," shares the band.

"We have always loved coming back to this part of the world as the fans have always made our trips so memorable and special – you have the loudest fans in the world!

"The 25th anniversary show will be our most exciting and ambitious to date and of course, we will be performing all of the hits. Australia – we cannot wait to see you!"

The tour promises Westlifers a concert packed to the brim with euphoric hits including the timeless ballads and global chart-toppers like 'My Love', 'Flying Without Wings', 'You Raise Me Up' and their debut hit 'Swear It Again'.

The tour news lands with the release today of the group's career-spanning retrospective album '25 - The Ultimate Collection', a celebration of their record-breaking 25-year journey at the very top of global pop.

It also features brand-new material recorded by all four members of Westlife: Shane, Nicky, Kian and Mark.

'Chariot' (which was co-written by Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid) was released late 2025; while last month Westlife released 'Your Love Amazes Me', a cover of American country artist John Berry's 1993 #1 hit. "This one's for you ❤️," posted the band.

"Thank you for 25 incredible years of love and support, it means everything to us. We hope this song feels as special to you as it does to us."

Adds Kian: "What a tune. . . back to the old Westlife sound. We hope you all love it as much as I do xxx."

While Nicky shared: "Somethings just never leave you and there's something about a ballad that just feels like home to us.

"We didn't set out to try recreate the past; this one just felt right. It's us – a little older and a little wiser – and to have Mark on there too! ❤️❤️❤️."

Tickets on sale from 2pm (local time) on 15 May.
