Ahead of their performance at Brisbane's Dead Of Winter Festival (7 July), Brisbane post-rock, hardcore band Sensaii are maintaining the momentum with the recent release of their newest single 'Bipolar Bears'.
Vocalist Rowan Herbert describes the track as an attempt "to portray the feelings of being an involuntary puppet of your own mind. Sometimes you can get so stuck between two different mindsets and that can be a terrifying place."
The band have also released an accompanying music video for 'Bipolar Bears' that was directed by ex-The Amity Affliction drummer, Ryan Burt.

'Bipolar Bears' explores the duality of the manic highs and treacherous lows associated with not only bipolar disorder, but mental illness in general.
"Even though the song is dark, about some things that some of us are directly dealing with every day, we wanted to show that there's always a way to overcome the darkness. Be it your family, friends or even just music," adds bassist Kerry Rowe.
The band have also released a humorous behind-the-scenes mini-doco that captures the band filming 'Bipolar Bears'.
Sensaii have promised they are working on a new album – scheduled for release before the end of 2018 – as well as more live shows upcoming "supporting some of the best heavy bands in the country".
