Enrolments open for Girls Rock! WA’s second camp
There’s no denying the overwhelming success of the inaugural Girls Rock! WA camp in January, so we’re excited to share that applications are now open for the second 2019 camp to take place in September and October.A week-long day camp designed to empower and inspire young female, trans and non-binary musicians, campers take part in specialty workshops, instrumental lessons and band rehearsals, alongside a slew of inspirational WA artists, mentors and support volunteers.
With a focus on creativity, positivity, community and empowerment, the impact of the Girls Rock! WA programme reverberates around the whole community. Are you, or do you know a female, trans or non-binary person aged 11-17 who’s picked up a guitar, bass, drums, or flexed their vocal chords?
