WAMFest Live Expands To Regional WA

WAMFest keeps getting bigger and bigger, revealing more on the regional component of Australia’s favourite festival celebrating WA music.

This year we’re excited to take the festival to regional locations including Margaret River, Mandurah and Albany for a series of FREE events, kicking off Thursday 18 October and running through till Saturday 20 October.

Punters can rely on a stand-up local line-up at each event, including acts such as Blue Child Collective, ASKYA, Emjay Angeni and plenty more to be revealed. Head to wamfest.com.au for all the latest line-up announcements and event info.

WAMAwards Nominees Revealed And Public Voting Opens

The WAMAwards return to recognise the brightest talent West Australian music has to offer. Nominees for this year’s awards are due to be revealed 26 September. Winners will be celebrated at the WAMAwards evening, hosted at The Hyatt on Thursday 1 November.

More Speakers For WAMCon, Plus Speed Dating Opens

With an enticing mix of industry experts and music brains already announced, as well as our iconic industry keynote speaker Don Letts just revealed, WAMCon are thrilled to announce the opening of speed dating registrations.

As of Wednesday 3 October, early bird ticket holders will be invited to register through our new online booking system and book one-on-one meetings with industry reps.

WAM Reveals Local Line-up For Perth Royal Show

WAM are teaming up with the Royal Agricultural Society of WA to bring stacks of sensational live local music to this year’s Perth Royal Show running 22-29 September. With more than 60 incredible WA acts showcasing their original tunes over the 8 days at pop-up stages all around the grounds, there will be plenty of local gems to uncover.

You will be able to catch acts like Charlotte Viney, Grace Sanders, Jook Joint Band, Legs Electric, Sonnenmasse, Timothy Nelson and so much more. Head to wam.org.au for the full line-up.
