Berlin-based Irish troubadour, Wallis Bird returns to Australia for an extensive tour this January.
The folk-pop-rock singer-songwriter will play dates in Brisbane, Northern Rivers, Sydney, Blue Mountains, Canberra, Adelaide, Hobart and Melbourne as well as Cygnet Festival and Illawarra Folk Festival.A regular visitor to Australia pre-pandemic, Wallis has toured previously in 2016, 2017, and 2019.
An artist with more than 1,000 live shows under her belt as well as two Irish Meteor Awards, a nomination for the Irish Choice Music Prize, and a prestigious 2017 German 'Musikautorenpreis' award, last year Bird released her seventh studio album, 'Hands'.
"It shows my personality, my energy, my politics and my abilities in a very focused world of positive-pop protest music. I feel like I've found a definitive sound," Wallis told us last year.
