A certified guitar virtuoso, Vlatko Stefanovski (who was a founding member of the musical trio King Of Strings with Aussie guitarist Tommy Emmanuel and gypsy jazz guitarist Stochello Rosenberg) will make his Australian tour debut when he brings his own trio to Melbourne, Sydney and Perth later this month.
With a career spanning 40+ years, Vlatko first came to fame in the '70s with celebrated Yugoslavia band Leb i Sol.
In recent years, he has collaborated with the London Symphony Orchestra and Monte Carlo Philharmonic, and is the author of several scores from film, ballet and theatre.
Vlatko's style of fusion music - a mixture of traditional Macedonian irregular rhythms and modern rock that also incorporates jazz and blues - that he has coined 'ethno rock' will electrify audiences.
