Vintage Vibes 2023 Line-up

L-R top to bottom: Tash Sultana, Angus & Julia Stone, Gang Of Youths, The Temper Trap
Update - 24 January, 2023: Vintage Vibes have added San Cisco and Babe Rainbow to their 2023 line-up.

A new two-day music festival boasting some of the biggest names in Australian contemporary music, the inaugural Vintage Vibes will settle in the Adelaide Hills in early April.

The line-up is littered with ARIA Award winners including Gang Of Youths (who recently were awarded Album Of The Year at the J Awards), multi-instrumentalist extraordinaire Tash Sultana (who is currently working on a new album), Australia's favourite sibling duo Angus & Julia Stone, the country's most prolific psych merchants King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, indie lords The Temper Trap (who have found a new audience thanks to TikTok) and underground hip hop beat makers Hermitude.

Then there's indie rockers Middle Kids, 2019 Unearthed High winner George Alice, indie singer-songwriter Jess Day ('Affection'), local rockers West Thebarton, hip hop artist Adrian Eagle ('Clark Griswold' collab with Hilltop Hoods) and post-disco charmer Donny Benet (lock up ya mothers!).

And we haven't even mentioned '70s icon and soft rock crooner Leo Sayer, giving Vintage Vibes its prerequisite hit of nostalgia.

"We're back in Adelaide next year for Vintage Vibes festival," Gang Of Youths share.

"Adelaide we're coming back for the Vintage Vibes Festival with a bunch of other amazing artists," adds Angus & Julia Stone.

"See ya for a few pinots in the Adelaide Hills this April," says West Thebarton.

Set across two glorious days, Vintage Vibes – which is curated by Blake Gilchrist, the music curator for Adelaide Festival – will also offer revellers an assortment of local food and drink vendors showcasing the local area as well as bespoke activations.

"I'm really excited to offer South Australia a world-class, multi-day festival in Vintage Vibes, not only with a truly amazing artistic line-up, but one that is set to accentuate the Adelaide Hills region," Gilchrist says.

"We have undoubtedly delivered a truly international standard line-up, consisting of nearly 100 per cent Australian artists and over 50 per cent South Australian.

"Where else can you see artists like Gang Of Youths, Tash Sultana and Angus & Julia Stone play alongside hometown heroes Adrian Eagle, Wanderers, and We Move Like Giants?

"The Adelaide Hills has some of the most beautiful wineries and food producers alongside some of the most picturesque countryside in Australia, and we are excited to soon announce a complete food, drink and activation programme as we cannot wait to showcase the best of the region."

Tickets on sale from 7 December.

Vintage Vibes takes place at Tomich Wines (Adelaide Hills) 1-2 April.
