Truly one of a kind, Finnish singer-musician Ville Valo (VV) is headed to Australia for a three-date run in 2024.
The frontman and co-founder of defunct dark rock, gothic metal band HIM, Valo is bringing his distinguished baritone five-octave vocals to headline concerts in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane next March.The shows will be a mix of Valo's solo material (VV released his debut solo album 'Neon Noir' earlier this year) and HIM classics like 'Funeral Of Hearts', 'Right Here In My Arms' and 'Wings Of A Butterfly'. Fans can also expect a cover or two given Valo's versions of Chris Isaak and Neil Diamond bangers.
With VV, the HIM Heartagram has been updated to include two extra lines to form the moniker VV at its centre.
"Artistically speaking, the main difference between HIM and VV is the extra line in the Heartagram, but what an exquisite line it is," Ville playfully comments.
Tickets on sale from 9am (local time) on 10 August.
