Instantly recognisable to multiple generations of Australian music fans, the soulful, harmony-rich Vika & Linda Bull will release their first album of original material in 19 years, titled 'The Wait', in September.
The duo have collaborated with a who's who of Australian singer-songwriters on 'The Wait', releasing two joint singles: 'Raise Your Hand' and 'My Heart Is In The Wrong Place'.The list of collaborators reads like a honour roll of Aussie music royalty: Don Walker, Glenn Richards, Chris Cheney, Bernard Fanning, Kasey Chambers and Brandon Dodd, Ben Salter, Paul Kelly, Neil Murray and Matt Walker, Mick Thomas and Jemma Rowlands, plus emerging talent Eva Seymour.
"Hearing Vika & Linda's voices together is still one of my favourite sounds ever," attests Kasey Chambers.
While Marlon Williams adds: "Ask anyone who's seen the Bull sisters live and they'll tell. . . the temperature just changes in the room. There's just so much heat."
Vika & Linda Bull will also take to the road (lockdown permitting) in November for a five-date trip around the country with shows planned in Gold Coast, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.
