British soul, R&B artist Victor Ray will make his Australian live debut in 2025.
The street busker first got his break playing in and around Newcastle before Teddy Swims appeared in one of his videos, which led to Ray touring with Swims on his 2024 UK-Irish tour. There were also 2024 appearances with Benjamin Ingrosso and Tom Grennan alongside Ray's own run of UK-European dates towards the end of 2024.Now the 'Stay For A While', 'Comfortable' and 'It Only Cost Everything' London-based singer-songwriter (he was born in Uganda and raised in Newcastle) will headline concerts in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in April.
"AUSTRALIA!! 🇦🇺 I'm coming on my debut tour this April! I've always wanted to visit Australia, and now I get to play shows to you guys there! So excited for this!"
Ray has also released a new single, 'Hearts Break & People Change', which will feature on his new EP 'I Will' that's due to drop in early April.
"I'm really excited for the world to understand that there's a lot of Black British talent and a lot of stories here in the pop world, not just in R&B and hip hop," Victor says.
"I want to really push the boundaries and take it as far as it can go. That way people can really aspire for more than what they feel like they're restricted to."
