Vance Joy has confirmed a series of capital city shows during April and May between his Groovin The Moo performances.
2014 has started extremely well for Vance Joy, coming in at #1 on triple J’s Hottest 100 countdown, making it into the Top 10 of the UK Singles Chart, performing his first Laneway shows and recently announced on the line-up for this year’s Groovin The Moo.
In additional good news for the Melburnian, Vance Joy’s hit single ‘Riptide’ has now been certified 4x platinum by ARIA!
Since its release, ‘Riptide’s have grown to include 'Highest Selling Australian Single for 2013' and '#2 Most Played Australian Song at radio'. International audiences have now jumped aboard the ‘Riptide’ train as well, with an impressive UK Chart and increasing radio airplay in the States.
Having just finished up on the Laneway circuit, Vance Joy is now heading back to the UK and Europe, for sold out headline shows, before embarking on an extensive US jaunt in support of Young The Giant. Along with this, he will also appear at SXSW.
Joining Vance Joy for his Australian tour dates will be Gossling and Teeth & Tongue.
Vance Joy’s debut album is due for release in the second half the year.
