Free Brisbane street party, Valley Fiesta, is returning this October – set to take over Fortitude Valley with an unmissable celebration of live music.

Valley Fiesta celebrates 29 years in 2025. This year, it will transform the city’s iconic entertainment precinct with 26 national and local acts across two main stages in the Brunswick Street and Valley malls.

"Valley Fiesta is an electrifying celebration of music, culture and community that shines a spotlight on Brisbane’s best local talent,” Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner says. “Each year, the festival draws thousands to Fortitude Valley, lighting up our streets, stages, and laneways with live music, all while backing local business.”

“We’re proud to keep delivering free and affordable events across the suburbs – creating more to see and do and reinforcing Brisbane’s reputation as Australia’s lifestyle capital."

Hockey Dad, Brisbane’s own Sycco, and Keli Holiday (of ARIA-winning duo Peking Duo) lead this year’s electric line-up, joined by rising stars TYDE, winners of the 2025 QUBE Effect Lord Mayor’s Live Event Award.

DJ sets will also take over Winn Lane, with beats pumping from 2pm until late.

“We’re enhancing Brisbane’s unbeatable lifestyle with free events like Valley Fiesta that showcase and support our local artists,” Councillor Vicki Howard adds.

“Fortitude Valley is the beating heart of Brisbane’s entertainment district, with the highest concentration of live music venues in the country.

“For more than 25 years, Valley Fiesta has brought world-class Brisbane talent to the stage and Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner and I are proud to support this event and the artists that help make our city a great place to live, work and relax.”
