The diverse programme continues at Stranded Bar late into night with SIREN taking over Stranded Bar, transforming the venue into an alluring space of voice, circus, burlesque and drag artists presented by local producer, photographer and RUMBLE! creator Joel Devereux.
Then on Sunday, the party rolls on with Underground Frequencies, a joint celebration of everything weird and wonderful about the Valley’s DIY, alternative and subculture communities.
4ZZZ kicks off the afternoon with an all-ages car park gig while QUIVR hosts a laneway party bursting with hot electronic talent.
By day, Elements Collective presents a creative workshop series followed by a twilight jazz showcase and Backdock Arts keeps the fire burning into the night with markets and performances celebrating people of colour in the arts.
"Valley Fiesta is a street festival like no other, it's an annual pilgrimage for thousands of party-hungry music fans to Fortitude Valley," QMusic CEO Kris Stewart says.
"I'm particularly proud of how accessible and inclusive this year's event is, from a First Nations Smoking Ceremony to the Access All Areas Stage to the SIREN LGBTQIA+ stage at Stranded Bar.
"From first dance to last drinks, this year's programme is entirely free, takes over some of the Valley's greatest live music venues and spans a vast cross-section of musical and artistic genres, so make sure you come out early and stay 'til late."
So gather, feast, groove and enjoy the magic of Valley Fiesta's 25th anniversary event, which runs 25-27 November.
