Canadian indie-pop four-piece Valley are bringing their debut headline ‘Lost In Translation’ tour to Australia this August.
The group are best-known for their unique, alt-pop sound, and their viral TikTok track ‘Like 1999’. They’ll release their new album in late June, which features the singles ‘Throwback Tears’, ‘Good, but not together’ and ‘Break For You’.
Valley began as two separate bands, and following an incident of being double booked at a studio in Toronto, Rob Laska, Mickey Brandolino, Alex Dimauro and Karah James formed in 2014 and began to discover their musical style. They’ve released a series of EPs and singles as well as their debut album ‘Maybe’ in 2019 – but 2020 was their biggest year yet.
They released their first EP as a signed group, and received a nomination for Breakthrough Group Of The Year at Canada music award ceremony The JUNOS.
This year has seen the group release three tracks from their upcoming album ‘Lost In Translation’ and kick off their tour. They’ve already wowed audiences across the US and Canada on tour, and sold out shows across North America. Now, it’s Australia’s turn!
“We are so excited to play Australia because it feels like such a far away land to us. We’ve been practicing saying our ‘nourahs’ and buying the highest SPF we can possibly find. We’re coming for ya AUS!!” The group say.
