Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.
Update - 22 February, 2023: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Unwritten Law have postponed the Australian leg of their album tour. The 17-date tour will be rescheduled to later in the year (dates tba).

The band have issued the following statement:

"Australia, it breaks our hearts to announce that we must postpone our current AU tour. We want you all to know that you mean the world to us and that we wouldn't have made this decision unless it was absolutely necessary.

"Since we all took a global break from touring, things just aren't the same as they were and we are not in a position to continue the tour as planned.

"We are working tirelessly to reschedule dates and make sure we return with everything you deserve. Ticket holders will be notified via email with instructions soon.

"Your existing tickets will be valid for the new dates, however, refunds will also be available. We will continue to update you on the situation as things develop. Please stay with us, we owe you everything.

"Love, Scott, Chris, Jonny, Wade, Scotty and Mickey."

Fans are advised to hold onto tickets for the rescheduled dates, or if they are cannot attend the new dates they will be able to get a refund at the point of purchase.

SoCal '90s punk legends Unwritten Law return to their "favourite place to tour" next month when they land in Australia for a 17-date run.

Set to visit all mainland state capitals as well as a bunch of regional areas, Unwritten Law will be touring their newest album 'The Hum'.

Alongside all of their massive hits – like 'Seein' Red', 'Save Me', 'Up All Night', and 'Celebration Song' – Unwritten Law will showcase new material from 'The Hum'; some of it for the first time live.

"Hey, Australia! Since this is the longest break we've had from our favourite place to tour and we've got a brand new record to share with you, we're beyond excited to present to you The Hum tour," guitarist/ vocalist Chris Lewis says.

"Not only will we be giving you different set lists every night, we'll be unveiling songs off our newest album 'The Hum', some for the first time ever!

"We're playing quite a few shows, so we're gonna make sure there are unique surprises every night. We can't wait to see you all out there."

Unwritten Law's first album in over a decade, 'The Hum' – which was produced by Joe Marlett (Blink-182, QOTSA) – is a concept record divided into the four phases of the waxing and waning of the moon, as the veteran punk outfit explores themes of truth, beauty, reality and fantasy.

"It almost feels like a new band," long-time singer Scott Russo says. "We were supposed to hand the record in the month the pandemic hit and it just wasn’t there.

"The label was like 'we don't want to put it out until you can tour', so we took an extra year to make sure we had it, and we did."

Tickets are on sale.
