The 2022 edition of Ultra Australia will welcome a cavalcade of international superstars when the EDM festival returns to Melbourne at the tail end of summer.
The first round of artists announced is headlined by Dutch house DJ-producer Afrojack ('Hero', 'Anywhere With You'), Swedish superstar Alesso ('Chasing Stars', Swedish House Mafia), Dutch future house innovator Oliver Heldens ('Turn On Me', 'This Groove'), and stadium-smashing Grammy-nominee Steve Aoki ('Waste It On Me', 'Just Hold On').Ultra Australia will also welcome Armada Music flag-bearer Andrew Rayel, Belgian hardstyle virtuoso Coone, Canadian vocal-driven hit-maker Frank Walker, Billboard chart-topper Sam Feldt, and Australia's own Melbourne-Bounce pioneer Will Sparks, while Italian powerhouse Deborah De Luca will mesmerise revellers with her hard-hitting techno cuts.
"We couldn't be more excited to present the Phase 1 line-up for Ultra Australia 2022! See you in Melbourne on March 5," the event organiser posted to socials.
Revellers will be able to 'get down on the dance floor with the Ultra Angels', or cool off at one of the designated, shaded 'chill out' areas. There'll also be a plenty to appease foodies with an array of culinary delights on offer from various food trucks.
