Ukulele Death Squad are set to tour Australia this September and October to celebrate the release of their fierce debut single, 'Not Afraid'.
Originally sprinting into the music scene in February last year, Ukulele Death Squad are known for blending their sound with rap, folk, mexican, and flamenco. In their short career, the group have successfully sold out performances at the Adelaide and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, while taking out the title of Best Music Act.
Incorporating a specific recipe of elements that the band's live shows are known for, 'Not Afraid' provides a fast pace and high energy that fans can enjoy.
“'Not Afraid', is the first song we wrote together as a band,” the band's lead ukulele Benjamin Roberts says. “ It encompasses all aspects of the group, the energy, the ferociousness, and musicality of what we can deliver. It's a much loved banger at live shows, and was a no brainer when coming to choosing our debut single.”
Described as the world's most dangerous ukulele show, The Ukulele Death Squad now offer the fans a first taste of studio recorded material through 'Not Afraid'.
'Not Afraid' is out now and premiered on scenestr.
