Originally scheduled for 2020, before being postponed to 2021, one of the biggest names in global reggae, UB40 will finally make their way down under in early 2023.
The tour celebrates the band's 45th anniversary (which they achieved in 2020) and will also feature New Zealand reggae-roots icons House Of Shem (who feature on UB40's latest album 'Bigga Baggariddim').Known for their classic cuts like 'Food For Thought', '1 In 10', 'Red Red Wine', 'Kingston Town' and 'Can't Help Falling In Love With You', UB40 will headline concerts in Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
"We always look forward to trips down under," the band said in a statement. "It's one of our favourite places in the world to perform.
"But with so many uncertainties in the world these past two years, we felt it was far more important to focus on everyone's safety.
"Now that borders have reopened, we're finally ready to get back to Australia and perform the show fans have been waiting for!"
Limited tickets to all shows are on sale. Tickets originally purchased remain valid for the 2023 dates.
