Tyne-James Organ 2023 Australia Tour

Tynes-James Organ tours Australia August 2023.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Australian artist Tyne-James Organ has shared his first new music in two years, the single 'Blue' presenting a new sonic chapter for the indie-rock musician.

Written in the wake of his father's death (well-known entertainer Rikki Organ) in 2016, 'Blue' provides a glimpse into the bond Tyne-James shares with his mother, who was a pillar of strength for him during that period of his life.

With evocative guitars swirling around, Tyne sings from his mother's perspective assuring him the world still needs him.

"Throughout that challenging time, my mum was my unwavering support, and the song captures our conversations," Tyne says.

'Blue' marks the beginning of a new era for Organ. "It's a teaser of what's to come," he reveals, hinting at "significant developments on the sonic side of things."

Tyne will bring his band (Kelton Hirst, Andrew Banovich and Jack Moffitt) on the road this August for a series of shows in Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne with special guests, Perth indie outfit Death By Denim.

Tickets are on sale.
