Update - 1 April, 2026: With the first show sold out, Two Door Cinema Club has added a second Sydney concert. Scroll down for the details.
Two of the biggest names in UK indie rock-pop of the last two decades are joining forces for an Australian tour.
Northern Irish charmers Two Door Cinema Club (TDCC) will take top billing when they headline concerts in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this November, joined by West London rockers The Vaccines.
Both bands will be riding the nostalgia train, with TDCC to perform their 2010 debut album 'Tourist History' (which was awarded the 2010 Irish Album Of The Year at the Choice Music Prize) in full plus a second set packed to the gills with their other greatest hits.
An era-defining album, forming the soundtrack to late-night parties, dance floors and festivals around the world, 'Tourist History' features the bangers 'What You Know' 'Something Good Can Work' and 'Undercover Martyn' as well as deeper cuts like 'Cigarettes In The Theatre', 'This Is The Life' and 'Eat That Up, It's Good For You'.
'Tourist History' launch TDCC onto a global stage, taking them from their garage in Bangor, to release five hugely successful records, as well as sold-out shows and headlined festivals across the globe.
"We have some incredible memories of time spent in Oz and we can't wait to get back for some really big shows. I don't know what it is about the southern hemisphere, but you guys just know how it's done," declares TDCC.
Read our review of TDCC's 2024 Melbourne concert (with Declan McKenna), which we labelled 'the Northern Irish indie rock band remain one of the most electrifying live acts today'.
Meanwhile, TDCC have invited The Vaccines on tour as their special guests, to perform their breakthrough record 'What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?' for its 15th anniversary.
The best-selling debut album of 2011 in the United Kingdom, it's a record featuring the band's raw, infectious sound packed with high-energy classics such as 'If You Wanna', 'Post Break-Up Sex', 'Norgaard' and 'Wetsuit'.
Tickets on sale from 9am (local time) on 27 March.
