UPDATE: 22 November, 2024: Three shows have sold out, with new shows being added for Boy & Bear and Bjorn Again. See below for details.
It’s time to soak up the sounds of summer – Twilight At Taronga’s 2025 Summer Concert Series is back, running across five weekends at Sydney’s one-of-a-kind live music venue within Taronga Zoo, Sydney.
“Twilight At Taronga is more than just a magical night under the stars; it’s an opportunity to support Taronga’s critical conservation programmes and truly make a difference for Australia’s unique wildlife,” Divisional Director Marketing, Comms and Fundraising Leila Davis says.
“As you gather with friends to enjoy breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour and the sounds of talented Australian artists, know that your ticket has the power to protect and directly contributes to the creation of Taronga’s new wildlife hospital. Together, we’re not only celebrating nature and culture, but also ensuring a brighter future for the incredible wildlife that call Taronga and this country home.”
DMA’s will kick it all off, followed by the quintessentially Australian sound of rock revolutionaries The Cruel Sea.
Beloved Australian indie-folk band Boy & Bear will play, before the return of Justine Clarke who is set to sing, dance and stomp with the littlies at Lil’ Twilight. Tickets to Lil’ Twilight also include entry to explore Taronga Zoo on the same day.
There’ll be LOLs aplenty at the Comedy Gala, starring Joel Creasey, Georgie Carroll, Dave Thornton, Bron Lewis, and more to be announced soon.
Iconic Australian voice Peter Garrett will take to the stage with his band The Alter Egos, bringing a powerful presence as well as a personal, reflective side.
The kids are in for a treat at Twilight At Taronga as beloved children’s entertainer Emma Memma returns to Lil’ Twilight. Then, following that night is stage and screen star David Campbell bringing his rocking new show ‘Good Lovin’ And More’, celebrating songs of soul, swing and the 1960s.
Aussie rock legends Spiderbait will bring their awesome energy, as will Middle Kids with their blend of indie rock and alt pop, plus, audiences can expect a double header of Baby Animals and Killing Heidi.
To wrap it all up, annual favourites Bjorn Again bring the disco hits for another year.
Tickets are on sale now.
