Turn Up Sunshine Coast Music Industry Conference organisers have confirmed all speakers are locked in for 2017 – offering up heavyweights in the first-round announcement.
Ted Gardner in conversation with Dennis Dunstan
Ted Gardner, established manager and festival promoter, will reveal the secrets of how to manage international bands and survive in the USA. Dennis returns following his 2016 Turn Up insights which offered gold dust to emerging bands including what one thing they need to get right to 'make it'.Gardner has managed such bands and acts as Tool, Jane’s Addiction, The Verve, HUM, Colin Hay, The Geraldine Fibbers, Rival Schools, The Cramps, Queens of the Stone Age and The Brian Jonestown Massacre. Ted also worked as the tour manager/production manager for Frank Zappa, UFO, Echo & The Bunnymen, New Order, The Sugarcubes, The The, Tangerine Dream, Crowded House and Jane’s Addiction. He was also a co-founder of The Lollapalooza Festival in Los Angeles that ran for many years.
Dennis Dunstan has managed such bands as Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, Men at Work, AirSupply and others over the years.

Hauritz (Woodford Fold Festival) will be speaking about how to transform a local festival into an internationally acclaimed cultural event. The special keynote speaker remains in the locker and is yet to be announced for this year’s conference.Networking Panels
