After revealing last week their third studio album 'Deep States' is due to land next month (20 August), party-punk indie rockers Tropical F... Storm will tour nationally with a nine-date run.
Set to headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Fremantle, Ballarat, Barwon Heads, Castlemaine and Brisbane, 'Deep States' finds the quartet of Gareth Liddiard, Fiona Kitschin, Erica Dunn, and Lauren Hammel exploring society's ever-increasing fascination with conspiracies leading to the subjective state of contemporary panic."It's a permanent state," Liddiard sings, "war made the State, the State made war, what's the point of worrying 'bout it anymore?"
The lead single lifted from 'Deep States' is 'G.A.F.F.'.
"'Give A F... Fatigue' is an ode to the occasional dispassion brought about by the mandatory concern for every perceived injustice that happens, has happened and might yet happen that is being foisted upon the masses by super-yacht dwelling tech barons who monetise our indignation," Liddiard says.
Tickets to Tropical F... Storm's tour go on sale Thursday 8 July at 9am EST. More information.
