Triple J Hottest 100 Voting Now Open

Vance Joy won the 2013 Hottest 100 with 'Riptide'
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Voting is now open for triple j’s Hottest 100.

This is the annual tradition of Australia casting their picks for their favourite songs of the year. Whether it’s a tune they can’t get out of their head, danced to at a festival or is a completely new, innovative sound, the culmination is a list of 100 songs that defined that year in music.

Past winners have included last year’s ukulele lead ‘Riptide’ by Vance Joy, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ infectious anthem ‘Thriftshop’ (2012), Gotye’s world chart topping ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ (2011), Angus & Julia Stone’s ‘Big Jet Plane’ (2010) and Mumford & Sons ‘Little Lion Man’ (2009).

By voting you could WIN triple j’s Golden Ticket, which gets you and a friend into to every single triple j supported gig in 2015, including: Laneway Festival, Splendour In The Grass, Groovin The Moo, Falls Festival, The Black Keys, Chet Faker, Vance Joy and heaps more.

Hottest 100 voting is open until midnight Sunday 18 January.
